removing background image

how can I remove a background image and get the original background?

Long press the home screen and select Wallpapers from Home. The original background can be selected there. Hope this helps

The Original is not Included in the Wallpaers on the Phone, why i am not sure. So here is a copy.

The original is included in my phone, in the preloaded wallpapers gallery it's right before the last one.

IF you are interested in a more detailed/textured version of the original, I did 3 different ones using the Motorola Droid Press Kit super high rez images of the Droid. They look a lot less washed out than the original one does. Give them a try and you will see what I mean, give the Droid a nice classy look IMHO.
