New Phone for the Missus

Hi all,

I plan on getting my girlfriend a new phone for Xmas and I got my HTC Desire recently and not knowing even what the Desire is capable for she says she wants one.

I am not going to get her a Desire because she isn't very tech savy and will not even be using a quarter of the feature's the phone has to offer lol.

I was looking at other android phones out there and of course there is the Desire's younger sibling the wildfire. The sony x10 xperia mini also caught my eye due to its small size (fit it in any of her handbags).

Any other recommendations out there that I could take a look at?

Well if its the desire she likes just get it for her,if i told my better half i like a certain item and i got something else,i would be disappointed.That phone might be the one that broaden her inner tech.

We did have a discussion and she did understand what I meant because it would be a huge waste of money plus she said she would rather have a cheaper phone and have more than one gift

Does she actually want/need it to be a phone? I ask because samsung is release their android "ipod touch" here soon (if it's not already out). Basically an android phone without the phone part

i vote for the same phone as you.

it will be easier for you to troubleshoot issues.
she will be happier. less headache in the future!

get the desire, and put the touch in a closet where it belongs

and remember if shes not happy, your not happy
