Root Apps2sd question (leedroid)

you need to read the thread that you got the rom from on the 1st page.

A2SD+
Moves apps & Dalvik cahche to your SD card
Lots of free internal memory!
You will be required to format you SD card with 2 partitions as laid out below

Partitioning your SD Card ready for A2SD+
Backup all data on you SD card (this will be wiped)
The card should be formatted with your standard FAT32 partition 1st followed by an EXT2/3 partition (I would recommend 512mb, EXT4 is also supported but may shorten the life of you SD card)
Linux users use GParted or a similar software.
For everyone else I would recommend using Rom Manager
Once you have downloaded ROM manager from the market, open the app and click partition SD Card, Select your EXT size and set 0mb for swap
Restore your data to your SD and the job is done.

it really gets to me that people do stuff without even reading the authors posts telling them exactly what they need to do

I have read the post and followed the guide, i cannot partition the sd using rom manager because when i try to it errors while flashing. There are that many guides out there i dont know which one to follow because a lot of them miss parts out like that one... It says nothing about getting a signature verification failed error.

So i now need to know how i can get round this error or partition the card some other way

I go into rom manager - partition sd card - ext size 512mb - swap size 0mb - partition sd car OK - then i get this:
clockworkmod recovery v2.5.0.7
finding update package...
opening update package...
verifying update package...
E:failed to seek in /cache/update.zip (invalid argument)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted

so the partition via rom manager was successfull?

if you partitioned the SDCard with 512ext and 0 swap from rom manager and it said it completed then you simply install the rom once its done.
if you installed the rom before you did this you will need to re-install the rom.

if however rom manager failed to make the partitions then you will need to click "flash clockworkmod recovery" at the top of rom manager
you already have clockwork mod but rom manager needs this standalone version to perform tasks.

to turn off signature verification shut down the device, boot to recovery by holding voldown + power then click recovery

when in clockworkmod recovery then go to "other" (i think, i dont use clockwork) then there should be toggle signature verification)

EDIT: just seen your post.

Take your card out of the phone. Quick Format it in Windows. Put it back in the phone and follow the instructions Rastaman has given you again.
