Gameboid showing up on battery use?

Is this normal? I recently downloaded gameboid and i noticed that even when i killed the process, the application shows up as using around 7% of the battery. I'm used to only seeing standby, display, idle, and system use up memory.

just a simple question, if anyone else has gameboid, perhaps they can confirm it for me cause its killing me

i did, but i turned it off and killed the app on task manager. my other apps don't do this

The percentage shown is the percentage used by the app, but out of the total battery used so far, not the TOTAL battery capabilities if that makes any sense.

so 7% may or may not be irrelevant, depends on when you took the phone off charge and how much you've been using it, as well as what other apps you used.

if you took it off charge, then didn't use any other apps, and just played on gameboid, it would likely be the main battery use at that point, and it would appear on the battery stats page at that point, very likely to disappear as more battery is consumed by other apps and the percentage gameboid used becomes lower and lower.

mmm okay. however, my main concern is the fact that it shows up there. I did purchase this legally however, the bios came from a third party source. i just want to make sure that others who have this app get the same icon showing up on the battery use. if anyone can just confirm it, i'd be happy.

it will show up there if it has used a considerable % of the total battery used so far at any point.

Ahhhhh i get it. So any application that has taken up enough battery will show up there regardless of what it is. And what shows up there is all from the last charge and after. Okay i get it. Thanks!
