I'm young and trying to learn what some of this means. Does anyone know why my Unzips are "failing", and why my "access is denied"?

Maybe you don't have enough rights to unzip a file on your computer. Try running it as Administrator

id0001- Thanks for your reply! I am an admin. I'm the only user on this computer. I should also mention, that I got that long list of "Access is Denied" messages when I was trying to install available packages within the Android SDK and AVD manager within Eclipse.

After I attempt to download packages, it just says "nothing was downloaded". Do you know what my problem might be?

I am new into the android o/s . I have downloaded the Android kernel source code .
I am trying the isoimage building for generic_x86.
when I give the make command .

surender@surender-desktop:~/Documents/android_kernel/common$ make iso_img TARGET_PRODUCT=generic_x86


But it gives the error : I am not getting why it is giving the error.

make: *** No rule to make target `iso_img'. Stop.


Please solve this problem....

If you type

make help

it lists all the targets, iso_img isn't listed but theres is a isoimage target.

You don't need to build the kernel to play with the SDK.

omg!!! after searching and reading for hours i stumbled accross this and it works!!!

literally the last 14 hours.
i'm trying to run sdk and avd manager so i can simulate an android to play apps on my computer (since its faster than my phone) versus using my Android Samsung Acclaim.
Not gonna lie though, i'm gonna use charles proxy to hack a certain game
(is that morally wrong?)
