Any FREE Home Replacements?

Panda released new version (v1.78) yesterday with exellent configuration options and support for up to 11 home screens, dockbars, and 3rd party theme support. I usually shy away from this kind of stuff but have been playing with Panda and the feature set is impressive. So far all of my widgets seem to be working but the icons seem just a little fuzzy compared to the using the original android home screens.

I just tried home++ beta, and it doesn't really tickle me ;/... I don't need all the space and seems as though it would use more mem.

I agree but there is a time and place for everything and this is not the place. Here you have guys charging maybe a dollar or two for their programs (we are not talking Bill Gates) and the least we can do is support their efforts. Nuff said... Time to move on (see no sad faces. Are you happy now?).

i am new to android ... i am currently installing panda home. if i get it and change everything up will it go back to normal if i uninstall it or would i have to go through some precess? ... basically just wondering how to go from pandahomeized back to htc sense if i dont like panda
I can only speak from a Droid owner point of view.

Home replacements are applications that run on top of the stock home so unless you take action, your stock home widgets and icons will remain unchanged. This allows you to go back to stock if you don't like the replacement. The downside is that the widgets still run so it will drain the battery faster and use more memory.

That said, I think the best practice is to remove all of the widgets from the stock home when you begin using a home replacement. This is to reduce the battery drain (and other things) because home replacements do not actually stop the stock home application. The downside being that you will have to rebuild your home screens if you decide to return to using the stock home.
