Anyone else super impressed with their Epic boot up speed?

From day 1 when the Sprint rep first booted up my Epic its been very, very fast to boot up. It took under 20 seconds that first boot up and the next few. After loading over 100 apps and at times I've even had close to 200 apps, it still booted up fast between 30-35 seconds, sometimes quicker. Also I have a 32 gig card in my phone with about 4gb of space not used so that also slowed down boot up speed for me slightly I think.

I'm very happy that it boots so fast cause I have 4 batteries (lol) and it would be such a pain if it took a long time to boot up each battery swap.

How fast does your Epic boot up? I know I have way more storage in this phone than most even come close to, so I'm sure your Epics are booting up faster than mine...

P.S. - it boots up fast on 2.1 and 2.2 btw

Mine takes about a minute, then it takes another minute for the media scan to complete, LauncherPro to settle in and the widgets do their thing. Coming from a BlackBerry, that is blazing fast (took about 5 minutes).

Just came from a Blackberry 9650. Was shocked at how much faster the Epic was.

I am impressed as well. I had a HTC Hero before the Epic. I was so used to turning on the Hero, waiting a couple minutes for everything to finish booting up before I can use the phone. With the Epic is is around 30 seconds, if that.

I had the Moment and when I had a lot of apps installed, it took a long time to boot up.

I average about 15 sec with 100 apps and the standard 16g card and 6 g free... Shocked...very...happy, yes...considering i have 3 batteries i swap myself and coming from the palm pre where it averaged 5-7 min to boot...

I'm also coming from the palm pre and of course that is the first thing I noticed. Very impressive. Imagine ifit didn't have to scan the sd card.

I agree . ( only two exceptions-imo. the "cards" and swipe to delete. )

Yep, is awesome. I used to have the BB Storm 2 and it used to take around 10 freakin minutes to boot up. The epic is superfast...

You and me both, my friend. going through all of those ******edly long boot up animations, and then waiting for the phone to find service, AND THEN waiting for Launcher pro+ to kick on, Though LP+ DID help speed that phone up. which was nice, for sure.
