I live in a small town in the frozen wastelands of Illinois and I got my N1 today. The fedex man kinda shook his head at me when he got here with the box because I was nearly giggling with glee... I said "what?"... He said "that is the same reaction that I got for the 60 of these boxes I delivered YESTERDAY and the 40 or so that I've delivered today so far. What is the big deal about this phone?" We talked for a while and he's gonna order himself one tonight.

If a town THIS small is ordering Nexus One's at this rate, google is gonna overtake the *** ass iPhone in NO TIME.

I had a somewhat similar experience.

I got mine yesterday, and here in Minnesota we got a few inches of snow. I know that sometimes FedEx won't come around if the snow is too deep or if walkways are dangerous, so as soon as I woke up I went out and shoveled about 5" of snow, while it was still snowing.

When the FedEx duder got here, he said something to the effect of "so many of these boxes, but at least you shoveled a walkway for me!" Of course he could have been referring to "boxes" as packages in general. :p

Well, keep in mind that the N1 is only available online. The majority of iPhone purchases have been made in-store with some online orders when the 3GS came out, so don't get too excited.

My thoughts exactly. Since all the orders are shipped, it'll appear to have more sales density. I can pretty much guarantee you that the stock person at the Verizon store didn't giggle when 100 units of DROIDs arrived at the back door, multiplied by the number of Verizon stores in a given delivery route.

I'm thinking of buying an iPhone with an iPhone data plan and just sell the phone itself (keeping the data plan) to fund for purchasing the N1. so its +1 for both parties. :D

Are you on a family plan or something? Cause otherwise why not just get it subsidized from T-Mobile? I have to say even though others are saying the phone is nice on Edge, from my past experiences with multiple iPhones and other Android phones, I would never get a smartphone again on Edge. This phone needs all the data bandwith it can get!
