Why is it that only the HTC Hero (being the Euro Hero, Sprint Hero, and Droid Eris (Verizon Hero)) are the only android phones to have pinch to zoom in the "native" browser. Did HTC pay extra for this to have the USA? I know that the Moto Milestone (Euro Droid) and the Euro version of the Nexus One (according to Vodaphone) do have and will have it as well.

Any ideas... I have about 5 co-workers with the MOTO Droid and all they want is pinch to zoom, something I have done since day one with my Sprint Hero.
