Hybrid ROM (rooted)

6a Rooted
More information can be found on the dedicated page: SuperPad2 Flytouch3 Hybrid Tim Rom

Version 6 is based on the 20110803 firmware (Android 2.2) with a bunch of other stuff & tweaks added in, and s0l's Huawei 3G sticks support lib added.

Tips
See there: SuperPad2 Flytouch3 Tim Rom Tips
It should contains almost everything you need ;)

Please report also if the rom is working well for you, and not only if you have issues :)
that helps to know if the rom is heading in the right direction or not.

Flashing is as usual:
To install the firmware, download the .zip on a PC from the link below. Extract the contents of the zip on a PC and copy the two files to the root directory of a formatted TF- Flash Card. Note* the root directory of the TF-card is the highest main directory location on the card, such as c:/ on a PC.

The two extracted files must be placed in the root directory of the TF-card. Insert the card in to the Superpad2 FlyTouch3 and power on the tablet. The installation will be automatic.
*To improve stability and avoid corruption on tablets with unstable battery, make sure to flash and boot at least the first time while plugged in power*

(See Useful Utilities below)

How to report issues
See on the rom's dedicated page

I have tried to update my firmware with several of the updates out there and not one of them has worked for me. I followed the instuctions they are simple enough, put the files firmware2 and firmware-discovery on my sd card turned on my superpad and nothing. What am I missing.

My pad:
Model Number SAWEE Pad
Firmware version 2.1-update1 V2.3:#3529
Baseband version Unkown
Kernel version 2.6.32.9
Build number ERE27

If anyone can help me I would be very greatful

I believe these firmware updates are only for the Flytouch 3 Superpad 2 with android 2.2 Froyo already installed.
I 'm not expert enough to advise you. Check out where you brought your tablet from for updates.

I think the builds are quite different for this model compared to other build numbers going around. Perhaps you have a FlyTouch 2 or something?

Hi,

I have a superpad and updated to
Version 3c. No errors after update and titanium backup restored my data ok.
Problem is when I try to download and install Aldiko ebook reader from android market the application will not install and I get an unknown error -18.
Am I doing something wrong here or is someone else having this problem?

Thank you.
