My first idea is an app where students can check into university, one requirement of uni is to scan your card each time you attend so they can keep record of your attendence, but these terminals are few and far between and often well out of the way. So an app where students could input their username and password and submit their attendence, which could be tracked using gps to check they are in the building, or possibly connected to the wifi network. What do you think? this could be a software that universities subscribe to use per year and we could distribute it on the market place for the students for free

The second idea is a status update software, that simaltaneously updates twitter, liveprofile, facebook, bbm etc to the same status, which is handy when you are on the move.

There are already a few widgets/apps that do the status update for all sites. I know I have a few of them. I never really do more than twitter and facebook and that comes standard on HTC Sense so I can't give you exact names, but I see them all the time in the market.
