How do you send picturemail with the HTC Hero? I used to do this with my old phone all the time. You see something interesting, snap a photo, and quickly send it to a friend.

With the Hero, when I select a photo, and try to "Share" it via a "Message", it always says, "Message size limit reached. Sorry, you cannot attach this to your message."

I guess this is because the filesize is so large (5 megapixels!)

That kind of sucks!

I get the same error. I hope someone can help us figure this out. It is a tru bummer! :-(

I had the same problem. I found out that the camera can take 3 different settings. The messaging and camera settings for text have to be at 1M.
