Facebook on the Android Market

Hello.

Is the official Facebook App. on the Android Market called MixIn:Facebook?? I've downloaded it, with it then trying to sync phone contacts and giving the contacts photos. Which would then go on to fail. Or is there another Facebook App. im missing out on here?? Im using Bloo at the moment but its driving me mad and force closing and not loading alllll the time!!! Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Wrong. http://touch.facebook.com is just the mobile page...
"Facebook for Android" by Facebook is the official Android app. It's easy to find being it's the third most downloaded app in the store. (last I checked...)

I have looked and searched on my Android Market and its not there. My boyfriend who has the HTC Hero however finds the App first on his list. "Facebook for Android" All I get is MixIn: Facebook. Is this because I have a HTC Tattoo?

depends on what version of android your on.. it wont sync friens unless your on 2.0 or better

Official Facebook APK file can be found on Unofficialitguy.com APK Mirror Site. The Widget works well on the Tattoo. Not too sure about the app itself though.

Hi, Ive downloaded the Facebook APK file. Im finding it works fine thanks but its just doesnt fit my smalll HTC tattoo screen. I hope they work out an update so us HTC Tattoo users can have it perfect!

I'd recommend Babbler lite in the meantime as it fits and has status update via voice controls. I mainly use the Facebook Widget for posting quickly and Babbler or touch.facebook.com for reading posts.

official facebook apk is not "signed" to work with tattoo
if anyone gets the dev email we could email them and ask them to support htc tattoo
