Root Problem with Clockworkmod

Ok so I rooted my phone tonight and have been trying for hours to get to the clock work recovery menu. I've installed ROM Manager and flashed Clockwork (2.5.0.8) multiple times and all I get (when holding power button and X) is a triangle with an exclamation mark in the center with a little droid guy beside it. Nothing has seemed to work from any of the threads I've read or any thing and I've become rather frustrated. I'd really appreciate any help, Thanks. (oh and I have a Droid 2 running Android 2.2)

3) Hit the Magnifying Glass (Search) Key.

i tryed that and it doesnt go into CWM. i even tryed a battery pull. i flashed multiple times....

i cleared cache with stock recovery and then i rebooted. i think i did a battery pull as well.

One to get into CW Recovery is to have your charger plugged in to the phone, then pull the battery for a few sec, then put the battery back in, and turn it back on, all while the charger is plugged in. If CWR is installed, then you should see it within 20 seconds without having to press any keys.
