Root Low phone space

I'm considering returning this and going iPhone solely because the available internal storage space is worthless. I have maybe two dozen apps on there that can't be moved to the SD card. Rooted, yes, Titanium Backup PRO, yes, but how can I totally remove the frozen apps from the phone while still allowing the ability for a restore? How much space can I possibly free up?

Back them up all using Titanium Pro, touch the ones you want to remove and click "uninstall!".
You can always put them back....it takes seconds.
All of this is done within Titanium.
When you are done with that, click the menu hard-button and click "clean up Dalvik cache" in Titanium. Then reboot and see how much space you have.

I have 286 meg of internal memory free......about 2/3 empty.
How much do you need?

Wow, interesting. I've got 40MB of free phone space with only 70 - 75MB of "phone only" apps installed, according to App2SD. Odd or no?

thanks for the quick response. ive tried that prior to posting, the problem is, when i click on an uninstalled app....there isnt the option to restore. i noticed on the list of uninstalled apps on the right side...there are yellow smiley faces.....that allow me to restore, and grey check marks that do not have the option to restore.....

This phone is my first experience with Titanium; I am still learning.

I hope I am wrong here, but it sounds like you do not have a good backup in place on the phone. Backup is created by you within the "batch" menu.

I created two backups, and stored one on an extra SD card I had from my old phone.

Maybe someone else will chime in with better info than I have?
