Droid Commander

PS. you will likely want to enable all the settings in the Apps 'Applications Settings' for testing before trying from the web or SMS or email...
I can can perform all the functions via the web but I cannot get the phone to place a call through send it an SMS i.e xxxx:Call:1234567890.

The main reason I am doing this is that I need to get an application to set my call forwarding based on location or time. I am using Locale but need an apllication to actually place the call. Locale will send the SMS but not place the call.

I thought I wasn't understanding the process when it was just that my browser wasn't getting it. (IE6 on one computer, and a heavily tweaked IE7 on another.)
Pretty damned cool!
Initial thought at seeing video being taken in real time was that you could put this on someone else's Droid and spy on them. Immediately I began to wonder about the security of this. (Who's watching what goes through the gate online? lol)

No Luck getting pin:CALL:###### to work.... Other commands like pin:Ring:0 did work... In fact when I was attempting to get 'Call' to work via SMS it seemed that the program was spinning on CPU... I noticed as the Temp monitor I have in Tray went up 20deg. F. in a couple min. after trying the command a few times... I checked the Battery Usage and Droid Commander was using over a 35% of my CPU overclocked to 1.1G...

As I notice the app is started by receipt of ANY SMS message and with the CPU/BATT issue I've uninstalled it for now...
