Android Market v3.1.3 problems

Hello. I have been having some problems with my Android Market place so I decided to install v3.1.3 from here

But now I can't install any apps at all. I keep getting "Your device is not compatible with this item"

This link claims to change the resolution to sort the problem however I still have the same problem. I know that tutorial is for a different device but there are multiple claims for multiple devices that this is the work around solution.

I was just wondering if anyone has installed this version on their LePhone? Any tips. I don't really care what version of the market place I have I just want to be able to install apps.

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

i have tried the new market too. only v1.8 works for me.

I'm not sure what version of the Market Place I was using but up until about a week ago it stopped working. Just left my apps downloading for ever. This is why I tried to update the Market to v3.1.3. I was hoping it would sort my issue.

If v1.8 works I would love to download and install it. I have been searching the web for about an hour and it doesn't look like there is a v1.8 download anymore.

I installed v2.2.6 and it didn't give the incompatible rubbish, it just wouldn't download the file. So I'm still left with a Market place that doesn't work.

If anyone can point me to a working Market apk (vending.apk) or if your able to attach a working one here I would appreciate it.

only v1.8 works as far as I know, Ive tried 3.x.x but it had a diffrent error about not having enough size onthe sd card.

unfortunately the only site I knew that had the google apps, had a HD crash and lost all of his files. I have the files though, but I am unsure about the leagality of uploading them to my server (and my upload is slow).

Thanks Rocky4u. That link worked great. The market place is sort of working again. Now I'm left with the apps that needed updating just sitting in the downloads section saying Starting download... with nothing happening?

I have left it over night to try and download my updates but it doesn't work. I'm not sure what the problem is.

The only way I can update my apps at the moment is to find the apk via google and manually install it.

I just went through the zip file that Rocky4u gave me and copied out the apk's needed to get the google market place working as per your guide King_bob. I'm not sure if they will work but I have uploaded the contents to here if you would like to update your links on your guide site.

Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

@i6Shot: try to cancel the download and then to manually update the application.
what applications are in download pending?
also tell me if you can download and install something else - a new application

I can't install anything. I cancel all downloads/updates and then start them again but it still hangs on the Starting download... I tried to install a new app but still the same problem.

I jumped onto the Market place help section and it mentioned to sign out of Google Talk and then sign back in. I tried this but still have the same issue.

I even tried uninstalling an app and then re-installing the app to see if that would help. Unfortunately I still had the same problem.

try to re-flash gapps from the link I gave you. Use ADB

Thanks for all the help. In the end I decided to re-flash with a new ROM. Looks even better than before plus market place is working a treat.
