what is the difference between bugless beauty and bugless beast

I have the Bugless Beast now, it says that it is set at 950 max and 1whatever the minimum is, but it really doesn't seem faster at all. Is there more to it? Do I need to do anything w/ the profiles, their max and min are all the same, 950/125?
Only thing I noticed, was last night and again today, if I try to move large amounts of files between my machine and the sd card, it gets a little screwy, starts rebooting itself, never finishes, and last night, it said that my memory card was "damaged?" I had to format it, and of course I had everything back'd up but, it was just on the card and not copied anywhere else, so...
I had to start from scratch, now I am back up and running though, still the BBeast, just doing smaller file transfers, seems fine. I think it may have had to do w/ the heat? The handset was pretty damn hot, maybe a safegaurd or something I dunno?

I also noticed that Home++ suck'd it big time on the beast, FC made it unusable.

I can't address the file transfer thing as I haven't done any big ones since I went to Beast (about a month ago now??). But the issue with Setcpu is that the profiles should be set with lower max settings to help save battery life. Go to their website and read their instructions.

I run:
Charging: 550max 250min
Sleeping: 250max 250min
Power <30% 550max 250min
Battery >48C 550max 250min

Note: many folks have experienced problems using 125min while sleeping as their phones would be very slow to wake up. I did not have those problems. But felt it prudent to use 250 as min.

I've not had Home++ run smoothly on any configuration I've had on the droid - stock, sholes, beast, etc. I really like that app, but it would not work on my Droid with my set of chosen apps.
