15.10.2011 - still no update from v2.2 :( Anyone know why?

The title kind of says it all. I've got software updates enabled in my settings and I've checked regularly, still nothing. It always comes back with "there are no updates available for your phone".

Hope someone knows what to do or how I can at least manually update the bloody thing

Sorry mate.. not sure. Who's your carrier? A mate of mine is on Orange and he still hasn't had the update himself!

It's Vodafone here in Iceland. If it's a carrier thing I'm not surprised. Seriously doubt they even know they're supposed to send out an update :/

Vodafone have the update in the UK I think... if you don't get it soon, try contacting them?

What's your software version? Settings -> About Phone -> Software Info.

I just bought a new one today and it came with Gingerbread already on it.
