***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

I'm normally the same way and very meticulous about keeping my phone scratch/dent/w.e free; however, one unlucky drop on a New York sidewalk completely shattered the screen. I can guarantee you all that whatever level of care I had for my Dinc will be increased exponentially by a figure that hasn't yet been mathematically named for my SGN. A nexus device on VZW? It's all I ever wanted.

Looks like Christmas is coming about a month early for me. :)

I still won't believe it's true until I have the phone physically in my hand. The PTSD this whole ordeal is giving me from the original Nexus One fiasco is making me lose my hair.

Is there anyone else coming over to the good side from fruit? Sadly I've been an iPhone user since the day the original came out but I've been sitting on the 3GS waiting patiently for my 2 years to be up then the perfect phone to come out.

I'm in the same boat. With jailbreak, my 3GS does what i need just fine but it's about time to upgrade for better camera/video. Plus I've been wanting to try Android. The SGN has got me hooked and under a spell for some reason.:D

Guys this is it! Monday is the day! There is absolutely no chance of ALL of these sources being wrong... especially since it's too close to the release date to be unexpectedly delayed. And the fact that we were getting lots of various dates before today is further proof that Verizon has finally decided a release date and it will happen on Monday!

So, I'm starting to feel a little sad about the closing of this thread. Anyone else? *sigh*

So, if they go on pre-order tomorrow, do we close it then, or do we leave it open until Monday, when people buy it?

We have an "I just ordered my Gnex thread" stickied but locked. I'm thinking I should open it soon.

Perhaps, we'll have the two threads open at the same time and we'll close this on Monday, if this all is true. Anyone a bit sad? :( But happy for the phone! :)

Those of us on Verizon (or planning to switch to it) will be getting the phone very soon. But maybe we should leave the thread open for those waiting for it to be available on another network?

Yep, I'm stuck with my sister's REALLY old OG Droid... it's actually not as bad as I thought and has better battery life than my Thunderbolt did. But I would like my GNex now please :p

Don't feel bad, at least you're on Android.... Look at this testosterone draining POS I'm sporting.... white ( I covered it up with some plastic )

Just got off the phone with my local store, and while I have yet to hear this from anyone on here, he told me first off he is a huge Nexus fan as well (a nice way to start the convo) and that he has been waiting just as long as us. After I asked if he had any info on release date, he proceeded to tell me that they are having a meeting for all employees at 7AM tomorrow morning and he was 95% sure it was about the Nexus and that its possible they will have them ready to sell tomorrow or Saturday. He told me to definitely stop by at 9 tomorrow and see if they at least have a display model, with the possibility of pre-ordering or even buying. I can't get my hopes up TOO high, but I am pretty damn excited.

Yup. Not a blessed work related thing. My poor company. Lol. Maybe by after Thanksgiving I will be productive again

Ditto. I've gotten nothing done this week. I hope I have a job Monday.

I've managed to get a LITTLE done this week, but I confess...I was reading this forum while on a conference call this afternoon.

Motocast streams from your computer to your phone, you don't have to upload to their server.

I want access so I can listen to what I want whenever I want ;)

I'm trying this audiogalaxy right now, its taking a long time to add my music to it too.

Plex is a $5 app, set up the free server on your PC and you can stream music movies and pictures from you home. It will play most any video format and change it to will play on your phone on the fly. Gives you cover art even. Movies work well even on 3g

Just posted this thread on reddit and encouraged redditors to join in on the discussion and report any useful information from local Verizon stores. We should see a lot more people participating soon!

That usually isn't' how Reddit works. They will see it as a promotion of the message board and instadownvote it.
