Root What's next for the ROM's?

So we've got overclocked beasts, a smooth OS, more homescreens, wifi tether, theme's, and almost everything else under the sun with any of the popular ROM's. So what's next? Flash from the leaked ROM is the first thing I can think of, but really, what else is there to do besides performance boosts?

I ask this because my brother declined the new DroidMod ROM update because I really couldn't tell him a killer feature to upgrade. Of course, I upgraded immediatly, because I like the flavor of DroidMod's cool-aid.

You guys think JIT will be stable soon? or not for a while?

Hard to tell. Could be a month, could be almost a year. Definitely sometime in 2010 though. Considering it's already in the android repository under and alpha branch (afaik).

Some people have run it with little to no problems, others have experienced significant numbers of FCs (also afaik).
