Nexus one Car Dock

Is there any news on this
It was so hyped by google in the video, but I dont get why its not released, I mean..how hard is it to release a car dock.. The GPS is ready..the phone is in our hands, the car is ready...so why not release it already?

Edit: I'll just say it's frustrating. The N1 has a shelf life of about a year or a little less before the next big thing comes out and a lifespan of probably 2 years tops, so I don't really know what they are waiting for.

What's the point of a car dock if your 3G is so limited due to terrible T-Mo coverage? Your just going to be constantly driving out of range. Either that or there is no point releasing the dock when only 30k have been sold.

The phone caches map data for your route so if you happen to go in and out of range you'll still have the route on your phone and the gps signal. Being out of range means you can't start a new route.
