Use as USB handset?

Hello,
I have a soft-phone on my pc and I would like to be able to use my Nexus One as a USB handset.

I think there was an app for my Nokia e71 that did this but, I can't seem to remember the name.

Why not install a sip client on the phone and use it without a PC?

Why not install a sip client on the phone and use it without a PC?

Well, I would but we (meaning me 'cause I am the IT guy) don't support it. And there are some features that are bundled in our phone systems soft-phone client that are tied into our active directory that I need to use.

I took a look at some of the sip clients before but never really found one I liked. Do you have any recommendations for a good sip client?
