Help Moved virtually every app to sd card via root, yet still low internal memory?

Hi all, so i've rooted my phone and used titanium backup to move all my apps (except golauncher, alternate keyboard and widgetlocker) to my sd card, even the previously unmovable ones. This has freed up much more room than normal, except even so i still only have around 14 mb of free internal memory left. What on earth is taking up the rest of the memory? I've tried clearing the cache, etc.

Use Link2SD....It's amazing. I've got like 20 apps and still have about 60mb free

Use Link2SD to link or move your apps
Linking apps will let you connect your phone in mass storage mode without apps closing
But you will have to make ext partition in sd (which will not be mounted to your PC)

If still no sufficient memory, then you may want to move your dalvik cache to sd
This will give a lot more space but might slow down opening of apps.
To move dalvik cache follow this guide

And to use Link2SD together with moving Dalvik cache make sure you don't link dalvik-cache
So uncheck it from Auto link settings in Link2SD
and Unlink dalvik-cache of all already linked apps

Wow that all seems pretty in depth, I might give it a go if time permits.. I'm just wondering though, what exactly is still taking up the space after transferring/uninstalling apps? E.g. if I uninstall HTC bloatware, say removing a few stock apps totaling 5 mb, when I go back to check internal memory there is barely any extra internal memory, if any at all

If you tried to move you your apps manually, it wouldn't free up much space I think, because it won't move all apps files (but I'm not sure of that)
Just install Link2SD (you won't need any prior configuration such as making ext partition if you only wanted to move apps to SD)
If Link2SD didn't free up much, then try to make that ext partition to be able to link apps
I had Link2SD linking almost all my apps and it freed more than 60 or 70 MB
But if you have less than 30 MB, then you haven't moved all apps
Cache also takes a lot of space

Ok, this is just ridiculous now. I had about 12 mb of free space left, i uninstalled HTC IME (the HTC keyboard) because I have another keyboard installed. This file was 8 mb. After I uninstalled it i have 4.5 mb remaining in internal storage. How am i now losing memory when i uninstall apps? This is incredibly frustrating and makes me want to throw my phone at the wall

ahhh sorry for the influx of posts, but i just did something really stupid... in my desire to free up more space, i moved go launcher to the sd card, having already uninstalled htc sense. now when i turn on my phone, it wont load go launcher automatically, so basically i am stuck on the htc welcome screen.

yes, call me stupid, but i really need to fix my phone even if it erases everything. in fact, that is probably the best option so i can forget this whole nightmare. i can enter boot mode, should i just select factory reset?

HTC Wildfire S have 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM, pls let me know how many memory (in MB) we can use for applications/games? As I notice when i go setting/applications/manage applications I saw in bottom of the screen total memeory 150MB (bottom left used memory and bottom right free memory total 150MB).

Well the thing with factory reset is that you will lose everything which kinda sucks. Just use Link2SD. It's a lot less complicated than it looks and you will never have any memory problems

You can use all of the 150MB for apps if you want to but I wouldn't suggest that. I would keep about 15-20MB always available or your phone will start lagging.
