Help Available in Holland?

At least one member here mentioned picking up the i7500 in Holland. Can anyone confirm this availability? Are the phones unlocked? What stores carry them? If I have an 8-hour layover in Amsterdam, would I be able to pick one of these up somewhere nearby the airport?

My apologies for so many questions, and gratitude for any answers.

Hi,

I'm keeping track of the Samsung I7500 Galaxy release in Holland, and as far as I know, it's not available yet. Since it is available in Germany (our neighbour), I can imagine people in the border area will be able to get their hands on one. In Germany it's only available at O2 at the moment: they've got the exclusive rights for the first couple of months. In Europe, the Galaxy has only been introduced (or announced) in France, Germany, Italy and the UK.

It's not known yet which carrier in the Netherlands will get the exclusive Galaxy deal. Since O2 is not a player here, my guess is it'll be T-mobile (hence with a simlock). But who knows...

they are selling them at the gsmfan in holland as i said above for 429 euros without simlock i am using that one for more then a week now.

Super phone, love the screen. little bug that is just shuts down once in a while without any reason.. could be bluetooth related.

My name is Richard and i`m a sales rep @ the Gsm Fan Store in Enschede ( The Netherlands ) we are also a physical store and not only a webshop.
We even started as a normal store and expanded into a webshop.
