Hi Ppl,

I am finding lots of trouble importing contacts into i7500 from a Nokia N 72.

I also tried exporting the contacts from Nokia into a csv format using the Nokia PC Suite and them tried syncing it through gmail but for some reason the contacts are not being read as numbers but instead as notes.

Folks any help...I cant manually type more than 400 contacts with name, mobile, email etc details.

Thanks

@sgx here's what you can do... The N72 has an option to back up all contacts to your SD card wherein it backs up all your contacts in a folder on the SD Card as .vcf files. Then you could log into your Google account and import these VCF into Google Contacts by choosing the Import functionality of Contacts. Be sure to select all the VCF files in the dialogue box that opens and wants you to select contacts to import. After that just sync your phone with your google account and it should sync all of the contacts.

This is how I imported all my contacts from my N72 to the i7500.
