A little about me

Hello everyone and thanks for having me! I am very noobish to android and it's devices but not noobish to the mobile world. I was a longtime contributor and chef over at ppcgeeks.com as well as a long time super moderator.

I recently purchased the Samsung Moment because looking ahead to the development of windows phone and its devices it seems that 7 will not be chef friendly as other variations of the winmo os was. I am not a fan of getting force fed into options that do not suit my needs.

I like the idea of Android being open enough to explore and create new opportunities for the device as well as other devices running the os. I have already rooted my phone and am currently trying to track down a pesky battery bug(discharges 25% over night on standby). I will be found mainly in the moment section but will gladly venture out into other areas as i get more and more acclimated with android.

I am not a fanboy of any os by any stretch of the imagination i just like to know as much as i can about things then move on to the next. That is not to say i will up and leave once i feel i cant learn anything more from you all because if android is anything like winmo...you're gonna learn something new every time you turn on your device.

Well this was as winded of an intro as i have ever done so i will leave you all with a piece of mind. I am here to learn as well as teach. Anything you may need to know...just ask...i may have an answer or through my research may be able to point you in the right direction of the answer.
