Help Unresponsive notification bar (screen protector applied).

Nothing like that here.. Very responsive on my ltevo. Do you have a case on your evo?

No, just a screen protector, but I noticed it even before I applied that. It could be happening when the homescreen first reappears after leaving an app, and there needs to be a bit of a pause before it fully "loads"? Or maybe I'm just not touching high enough. I guess I'll experiment more...

yeah reason i asked about the case is i use an otterbox defender and i notice that bc the case kind of hangs over the top of the screen you have to try alittle harder to hit the " sweet spot " where the pull down will engage. Mine fast no lag. But even without the case you do have to pull in the correct spot. Are you getting alot of sense reloads?

No, no reloads at all.

OK, thats good then. I would say that its more than likely the placement of your finger. It can be tricky. A good way to know for sure that you have the pull-down engaged is to not just flick it down but press up top and hold for a second. You should see the drawer pop out. Then pull it down. It will also help you figure out where the best placement of your finger should be.

Thanks. Sometimes I do get the impression that I might be hitting just below the bar, even though it looks like I'm touching it. Maybe if I start higher, even slightly above the screen, then it will work. If it doesn't, then I know I have a problem! :)

with a screen protector on, screen sensitivity can change a bit. so what you may be experiencing may be due to that plus, as 3vo stated, you may not be applying the proper pressure to initiate the notification drawer.

I doubt you have anything wrong with your device. If you wanted to really troubleshoot, remove the screen protector and verify if it makes a difference or not.
