Help 'Camera Failed'

My camera application has stopped working on my Samsung Galaxy S3; I tried to switch to the front camera a few days ago and it locked up saying 'Camera Failed'. Ever since I cannot use the camera and smart stay feature does not work.

I did a factory reset and the camera started to work again. However, after trying to switch to the front camera it locked up again.

It was working fine up until 3 days ago and has no other problems. Please could anyone assist with this?

I had the same issue and had to get a warranty replacement. Call Verizon.

A friend of mine has the same issue and I'm trying to get it fixed.
As soon as you switch to the front camera it crashes.
I've been looking all over for a fix but all I can find is warranty replacements, which is not an option in my case.
Has anyone found anything that can help??


And btw, once it crashes, if you wanna get it working fast without factory reset, all you have to do is go to settings->application manager->all->camera->clear data
