Root Beware when using DMupdater to unroot (my phone is fu**ed)

I've used DMudpater before to unroot with no problems. I just did it a few minutes ago and I'm able to get past the M logo and the Eye. However, once the phone starts to load up, I get nothing but a rapid succession of FC's for every app on my phone. After the FCs, my screen is COMPLETELY BLACK except for the status bar, which shows a date of December 31, 1969 and shows a time of 7:05PM (it's actually 4:15PM where I'm at). There's no service in the status bar.

I have no idea what to do at this point. I knew I should have done it manually. Any suggestions?

If not, can someone give me a lie that I can feed to the Verizon reps as to what happened to my phone?

Drop it in a bucket of water and get a replacement for the $50 or whatever it is.

When I recently unrooted using the dm updater, it sent me into a boot loop. I rebooted into recovery by holding x and the power button, next, pressed camera and volume up at same time. And I did a factory reset... Try that, maybe it wil work.

It's the stock recovery (exlamation point within triangle). I guess the DMupdater removed SPR.

power off...power on and hold the x...press either the volume up and the camera or volume down and the camera...should give you the options...wipe data and cache reboot...that should able to fix it...hopefully

I think you need to either get the update.zip that roots the phone on your sd card or use rsd lite to go back to stock.

Actually, doing the factory reset (as suggested above) worked. It's been so long since I used the stock recovery that I totally forgot you could do a date wipe/reset from there (LOL, embarrasing).

what i noticed is after unrooting...i still got some of the rooted apps working...but no su access lol

They should all still be there, but without su permission they won't work properly, if they even work at all.
