Any New Deals Starting Next Monday for October?

So, my daughter's phone has literally died. We were planning to upgrade her to a smartphone in October for her birthday. As of yesterday her phone is basically unusable. I am wondering if we are going to miss out on a good deal by acting today instead of waiting until Monday. I am trying to keep it as cheap as possible, so I am currently thinking of going with the LG Motion for $150 and the $40/mo. plan less our $5 family discount. I know a couple of months ago they were offering a $10/mo. discount on new activations, but it does not seem to be active now. Anyone have any ideas if there are going to be any service discounts offered or better prices on the LG Motion starting in October?

nothing has been announced yet. The 10 family plan discount was a promotion and is over.

My guess is there will be nothing in October, just a continuation of the 30$ dumb phone plans and the 55 Unlimited 4G plan.

You cant go wrong with the Motion on the 40 plan....tell her to use wifi whenever she can...

having 2.5 gb worth it. 250 will be used up within a week. It's just $5 extra and on average you get 80mb for a day. I have 2 Motions and phone is bargain for the price. I used my Motion to download torrents, watch youtube, other video, internet radio, remote desktop control etc.

Get her motion it's the best phone for the price MetroPCS got.

is the 4G limit really worth it? why not get the phone and use the promo for $55 unlimited everything plan. thats really the best deal at the moment. the Motion on that plan is a great phone. and it doesnt break the bank. the if you want a cheaper decent starter android phone you can get the Admire which is a decent phone with a 50 or lower plan. i would definitely get a the admire especially if this is her first smartphone casue its a good way to start off. also consider that phones tend to be dropped a lot and can get damaged so its sadder seeing 150 dollar phone get damaged than a 100 dollar phone get damage. of course you can get get cases and screen protectors

apparantry OP is trying to save a few bucks off the bill. His choice should be between unlimited or 2.5 gb plan anyway.
Forget Admire, extra $50 bucks worth every penny. Going with Motion is going to make his daughter happy. So what its her first smartphone, Motion has 1.5ghz duel core cpu opposing to 800mhz admire. 5gb of internal storage compairing to some megabites on admire. Better battery, camera, front facing camera. Motion does not lag and can play games such as NOVA 3 (you can not install it off the market but it can be played).
