Help Drawbacks of Galaxy Note... 4.0.4 please help

1. hangs sometimes
2. go to message-->settings-->handwriting 100% reproducible hang
3. click on add call at the time u r in a call-->device will mute automatically
4. click on keypad when a call is running-->no option to backspace if u write something wrong or cant able to call.
5. call recorder not supported only your voice will get recorded.
6. during call u cant open i)camera ii)playing songs iii)playing video which is supported on lower end S60 nokia devices its strange.

I was a hardcore nokia user.but i thought android is better and i bought galaxy note.but this type of problems made to to think i was wrong..

Only drawback I see is the physical size. Everything else is awesome. I love the device for the work I'm in.

1,2,3. Its not the problem with your note,its the problem with the rom(stock or custom) you are using.Try changing your rom or do a factory reset and it should be fine
4. I accept there is no backspace option in the dailpad while in a call but you can make a call while on other call
5.You can use any call recording app available in the play store
6. There are mods to open camera while on a call.For songs you can use poweramp app and for videos,you can use mx player or any other apps in play store

Finally android is far better than symbian and NOTE is much better than what you think

3. click on add call at the time u r in a call-->device will mute automatically---->this issue is also reproducible on galaxy tab 2(4.0.4),galaxy SII

4. I accept there is no backspace option in the dailpad while in a call but you can make a call while on other call-->no call option found from that dail-pad.for making call i need to go to "Add call"

5.You can use any call recording app available in the play store-->actually i did it but the application record only your own voice but not the other u r talking with.and some application record the 2nd person voice but in very very low quality that you will not be able to understand on computer speaker also.can me suggest me any application name?

2. You should not do factory reset on stock kernel.Its not safe to do a wipe
You need to be on a safe kernel to do a reset

3. I am on cm10 right now and i dont have any such problem

4. Yes you need to select add call option..you will even get the backspace option there

5. Try total recall in play store

6. For music and videos,you can install the apps i siad before
For camera,you need to be rooted for installing those mods

I agree, its the size that helps it.

its awesome!....I love my note...but it could be a drawback for others...
