I have noticed there are double forums in the Phones category, to avoid cluter and duplicate posts and such, can we minimize the duplications?

Also there are alot of unresponded topics, I will do my best to help respond to as many issues and posts as I can, (im not a genius or anything but I know my way around ... lol) but OK!

THAT IS ALL!

I mentioned this about a week ago, with a suggestion to alphabetize the phones section to reduce the chance of dupe forums. Okay, I asked for sub-forums by manufacturer too, but meh...

Looks like they listened to you, as the only dupe forum I see left is the LG Eve. So grats on being heard!

It took some work but I found a developer who completely customized the Phone Forum to make them appear smaller and they are now in alphabetical order. I think putting them under manufacturer's is kind of redundant since they naturally are grouped like that when alphabetized.

Do you all like the new layout?

I did take note of the new look for the phones section. It took a minute for me to get used to, or rather find the forums I use, but otherwise it should work out nicely.

The only reason I suggested putting them under manufacture, as a sub forum, would have been to reduce clutter. For example, HTC has 8 different phones, and right now, its not too much of a big deal, but what happens when HTC has double, or triple that amount? And as more companies start kicking out various types of android devices. That section could quickly become a hot mess. It would also give room to talk about manufacture specific software updates rather than having one in each of the individual phone sections. Though I suppose a sticky thread for that could work as well.

This way will still be easier to navigate than the old way, and should limit if not totally eliminate, duplicate forums. This was the main reason for the suggestions.
