couple questions im kinda new to the rooting process but im very fimiliar with computers and os system now i was able to root my phone through the guide for dummies which i must say was very easy well done but i got a few questions.

1) im running ctmod 3.6 and kournel 2.5 what is blood dawn been looking into it but cant figure out what it is. is it just another mod that changed the layouts and app or ??? can someone tell me if i should stick with what i got or try blood dawn. and if i get blood dawn do i gotta go through whole whole set up again with partition my sd card and so on

2) now that i have full access to my phone what app do you think are a must needs for my phone i know about titanium but i wanna change the dock botton without messing up the blue theme 1.6

3) i have 2 sd cards 1 8gig another 2 gig now both with the same set up ctmod 3.6 and kourmel. no i notice when i take out my 8 gig its like the phone freezes up kinda like if you took the hd out of ur computer why wont it let me swap sd cards without messing up the OS. im only asking cause lets say i got movies on one sd card and no space on another if i wanna watch those movies on the phone i cant my phone acts like there is no OS running it? Now i know since i have ct mod and kournel on both and it shouldnt be a problem but what if i wanna just keep my 2 gig for storage how can i swap in other sd card without freezing up the phone? anyway i can just zip the mods right to my phone and it will just load from internal memory or its gotta be on sd card?

Bloodawn is the developer that created ctmod not a mod :p

I personally recommend adw launcher as a way to change the dock as well as many other customizations. M not sure that the entirety if the blue theme will remain, but most of it will. And as far as must have root apps, that is kinda dependant on your personal needs. Try a Google search for 'top 20 root apps android' or something like that. There are so many good ones

that is because the os is being told that the partition you created is the location of the internal memory for the phone. You remove it and the phone is under the impression that there is no longer a /data partition. Since it can't load (or create) the needed files it just bootloops. If you partition the second card, it will perceive that partition as the internal memory as well, but it will not contain the files or apps on the first card. You can essentially run two sepeate setups this way... separate apps/app data/text messages... everything... just not two separate roms

Hope that makes sense :)

yes lord that does make sense i understand what you mean about the partitions and the sd card. Glad i haven't formatted the other sd card with ctmod and kourma on it guess ill just run one set up for certain files and my other sd card for my main set up i thank you very much. also ty for answering my first question but since i rooted goo manager keeps telling me there is an update for my rom and it says /devs/bloodawn/ctmod can you maybe tell me what this is, if i d/L it will i have to go through the same process again as if to root the phone?

I'm running ctmod 3.6 with kouma 2.5 and it just keeps saying N update for your rom is available and it says /dev/bloodawn/ctmod when I open goomanager update now and if I do click on of it will start d/l some type of update

Well, that's an easy one... if you're on 3.6, is trying to get you to update to 3.68 :) you're not running the newest version. If you don't want to update, go into your goo manager settings and set rom update check frequency to never...

Or simply update to the newer version ( which I believe WILL wipe your data)
