They could use this in lieu of the Droid Eye and the Motorola log which, together, occupy at least one minute.

but that is only a small number of frames that loop. this converted to png frames would be a rather large file containing hundreds of images. considering that you would only see this on boot. i think you may want to save that storage for more useful apps and content. now you could easily just cut a small portion of say, the jets flying and loop that.

You wouldn't really be able to use it to replace the Motorola logo and have it blend seamlessly with the boot animation. You would have to use it for just the boot animation. If you were to have it start at around the 15 second mark and then cut out some of the scenes (like the ship at sea and the mountains) then it would fit and work.

I already downloaded the video, I tried to find some software to convert it into png images but I'm not sure what ones do it. If someone can tell me I should be able to get most of the work done right now.

this may work. A4 Image Video Converter, Images from Video & Flash, Video to Picture, Video to Photo

aww sweet he is taking requests. I would like the entire lord of the rings trilogy and all 6 starwars in one animation. Hopefully i wont have to reboot very often since it will take 24 hours

Make sure you are charging during the reboot or your battery will go dead before you get to the home screen. Got any popcorn?
