Anyone switch from Galaxy s3?

I used a galaxy s3 for a few days prior to DNA since I had to help my mom with her new one. Its a nice phone from what Ive used. We have been comparing reception between the 2, the DNA seems to have the better reception each time Ive looked at them. I do feel bored when looking at the gs3 screen now though, its just so boring compared haha.

I have the VZ Galaxy s3. Love the phone, but I have had some dropped calls. Anyone switch to DNA from S3? How is your reception?

I came from the S3 and the Razr Maxx. Of course the maxx reception was unbleivable compared to the S3. And I think my DNA is just as good as the maxx or maybe better. I tell by my three deap spots to and from work. With the S3 I couldn't even dream of using the phone in the couple mile long dead spots. When I got the maxx those dead spots were non existant any longer!!!! Except for the occasional "your cutting out" response from people once in a while. Now with the DNA I don't even get the "your cutting out" at all. And I have spoken on the phone through these dead spots EVERY day since I got it. So in other words I think the DNA is far superior to the S3 (reception wise). Plus I couldn't stand that touchwiz. I started with Sense so I'm happy i'm back. took a little getting used to again but i like it.

Plus at home 4G shows up and that never happened with the S3

I agree 100% about reception. My S3 was flat out unusable at times in rural areas. The DNA has not lost signal yet on me. I really believe the camera is much better on the DNA . I tried everything on the S3 for better quality photos and they all seemed blurry to me. In outside dead still photos turned out excellent.

In my opinion, this is the best reception phone on Verizon. I have most recently used a Nexus, GS3, Maxx HD, and iPhone 5

No need to comment on my phone issues. I am considering therapy :)

If DNA is the best, could you put the rest of those you mention in order from best to worst reception? I have the GS3, and while I really like the phone, I would love to have even better cell reception in areas with spotty coverage. Have you tried the DNA on the Extended Netowrk (1x)? I have considered switching to the Maxx HD, DNA or iPhone. 5. Don't want the GNex. Had that already and thought it was terrible.

Honestly, I concur that the DNA has ridiculously good reception and signal. At my job, with the s3 it was really hard to acquire a signal (1 bar or roaming) unless you are standing near a window. With the DNA I have a signal regardless of where I am in the entire building.
