At least I hope to be a future Evo owner, assuming they don't price it out of the range my pitiful grad student salary can handle. Been lusting after a smart phone since the iPhone first darkened the pockets of gadgeteers worldwide, only just now convinced myself I'm busy (or is that forgetful) enough to require that much organization. Love the idea of Android and open development and can't wait to see if this phone lives up to the hype.
Otherwise (since this is my official intro), I'm crafty, I've got 2 cats and a fiance, and I'm studying disease ecology for my PhD. I also dabble in programming on the side, and I'm hoping to learn enough Java to come up with some fun apps for myself on Android.
Looking forward to learning more about the folks around here. I've enjoyed lurking for a few months now.
