Hi, my name is Mathias, and I'm an Asus Denmark Padfone 2 test pilot. If you have any questions about the Padfone 2 I'll be glad to try and answer them!

If ppl want it I'll also be more than happy to make a short review, although I'd personally go read the Engadget review of the device.

Anyway, fire at will!

Mathias,
First thank you SOOOO much as I just saw this phone/tablet, and would love to have it. But first there is one thing i need to know. Over at gsmarena.com it says that the 3G signals are 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
HSDPA 900 / 2100
And the 4G is 4G Network LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600

I need to know does ALL the Asus padphone 2s support the "1700" 3G signal or just certain ones? And if they are different, which version does support it? I'm in the US and using T-mobile. And to make sure that the phone supports 3g And 4G it needs the 1700 signal. Thanks in advance.

Hejsa :)

Well, better stick to english, I just got my padfone 2, and I am shifting from a galaxy note. I managed to transfer my contacts via the sim-card. Though I have a problem with my calender, I did not use google profile, but just the my calender option, any ideas how I easily can transfer all my shedules etc.!?

Another thing the phone becomes very warm when surfing, so if I get a call, I cannot hold it close to my ear, did you have the same issue ?

Sorry for the very delayed answer. The model I have is only specified to support wcdma 900/2100 on the box, and edge/gprs 850/900/1800/1900. There is also supposed to be other versions for other regions, which supports the 1700 spectrum, but not the Danish/Worldwide version, as far as I can tell..

I transfered all my schedules to my google calender account. You can easily export your current calender, including all details, via the Ical funktion, present in most calenders, and add the Ical webbased link to youe google calender, which will then automaticly show your other calender, including changes you make to that calender. - Although, from time to time, it can mess up, so the other calender won't be visible..

- The phone does get hot if you play a game/multi task while the device is in tablet mode. So far I have only had the phone feel hot on the back of the phone, not on the front of the phone though...

Hi mathiasdk1:)
May be you can help me. My pf2 suddenly don't connects to my linksys e 4200. In the past it was a very fast and strong connection. the other android tablets and phone connect fast and furious. I can connect it with the iphone4 hot spot. It finds all the WiFi sources in range plus the linksys and the edimax WiFi amplifier but don't connect with them. What can I do? I believe that the problem started after the last firmware update. I did the restore factory settings but it didn't help. Is there anyway I can restore the previous firmware update before the last one?
