What do iPhone lovers want next? iNote 2?

Haha. I am from the iPhone. iPhone 5 did not delivery so now I am on Note II. ;)

Note II has everything I want except communicating with iDevices. As most of my relatives are still on iDevices, I cannot see their iMessages and PhotoStreams. Someone needs to make an app that let androids tap into the iOS social network. ;)

Iphones have been losing their mystique over the years. That used to be in the "in" and "hip" phone to have. Not so much anymore.

Here in Boston, it seems that half the people have iPhones, while the other half have S3 or Note 1 or 2. Just go on the train on any given day, and that's what you'll see; a sea of iPhones/S3s/Notes.

Funny you mentioned that. In 2011, I was in Hong Kong and everyone in the MTR (subway) was using an iPhone, including me. Everywhere I go, I see "Paying cash for iPhones" sign in shops trying to get their hands on used iPhones to sell.

Fast forward to last month when I was in Hong Kong. Everywhere I went, I see Samsung Galaxy phones. In the MTR, on a bus, in a line at Disneyland, everywhere.... and many of them were Note I and II. On our way to Disneyland, I was sitting on a 4 people bench in the train. All 4 (including me) own Galaxy Notes (3 Note II and 1 Note I).

And I see Samsung signs everywhere. They have store inside MTR stations selling the phones. No wonder Apple is worried. I am 100% certain that iPhone 6 will have a bigger screen (or at least an option of it). They just cannot survive without it. Even my wife now admits that she thinks her iPhone screen is too small.

So why then does the iPhone outsell Samsung in the U.S.?

Lots of people just want a phone that works and is known to have little issues. If you want a simple phone with some nice features that will work and requires little effort and little to no learning curve than an iphone is for you. If you want a phone that allows you to make it your own android is it. Apple seems more concerned on suing people then making great products anymore.

This is the only defensive iPhone users have nowadays. Glad I was able to escape that totalitarian regime before I was too invested in it unlike many I know. Boy it must suck wanting to jump ship but you can't since your too tied into the apple ecosystem. They got you! No, these words are not directed at you Pappy;-)

I still remember when Steve Jobs said people don't want phones bigger than 3.5"......Yup, he knew exactly what my needs and desires were.

It looks more like they want Android hardware and Apple's closed ecosystem.

I never fell for or loved Apple since the beginning. I'm probably one of the odd balls that never owned an Apple product in my life. But it does appeal to others. I never really understood how or why. I always scratched my head when a fanboy replies defending it. But it applies to both sides I guess.

I loved the one conversation I had with a tech support person. Apparently a user tried to unlock the iPhone. Tech guy asked a few questions. Lock screen set to slide unlock. User replied it would not unlock after sliding. Tech guy thought their was an issue with the display. But then found out the user was sliding the phone screen down against the table.

I guess not everyone is cut out to use a smart phone either...

That's too funny, but of course all apple can do is make it bigger because, that is it. They say we are laggy but we have a selection of device ways they gotta play people pleaser now instead of saying this our devices deal with it.
