Help voice control - music

The voice control to play music, pause, skip track etc is flaky at best but I have never managed to get it to work when using headphones (wired). Has anyone ever managed to get it to work?

S-Voice works with headphones though, just not the stock music player.

Same here. I also have voice control for the camera enabled which I find the more useful feature. I can say "capture", "shoot", "cheese" twenty times and it may take the photo once. Just another poorly implemented software feature courtesy of Samsung.

My voice control for my Camera works great, with both my S4 and my N2. 9/10 times it takes a picture. Music controls on the other hand work 50/50 with no headphones and 0% with headphones.

Thanks, saves me from battling with the options and getting frustrated with google search terms. I was hoping to be able to control the music when I'm biking home, the mic fits nicely inside my crash helmet.

Time to find a different player then....
