Help Remembering USB Computer Connection

Should be an option to change from MTP to PTP connection when using the USB on your computer.

To try and build a little on Digital Controller's post. When you connect the handset to the cable and PC an icon should appear at the top left of the notification bar of the Home screen. Pull the bar down and there should be a message of either 'Connected as Media device (MTP)' or 'Connected as Camera (PTP)'. Tap on the message and select whichever type of connection you want.

Precisely!

Mine works just as you have stated, it's fast and easy as well... :)

PiscesCloud, it's not that I don't know how to sync, it's that each time I disconnect my phone from my computer and reconnect, it's not saving my previous setting. So, unfortunately, I have to go in and choose the PTP option. My original question was if you know of a way to keep the setting so that each time I connect my phone to PC, it stays at Camera (PTP). Any helpful hints or suggestions on getting it to save my setting?

I have checked on my Note 10.1 (2014) which has the 4.3 OS and on my Note 2 (4.1.2 OS) and the settings for both MTP and PTP options are retained on re-connections. Apart from quoting my 'Developer options' there is nothing else I can suggest.
