Mass hysteria! AHHHHHHHH! I'm not surprised that Verizon has sold out with all of the mass preorders. Just imagine what launch would be like if Verizon had been playing commercials for the Droid Incredible like 2 weeks before launch. I think Verizon did a good thing by not playing commercials because there are already so many orders.

Also, I wonder how many Best Buy stores will sell out due to this.

As i've been saying for the last couple of days, when the news broke that the nexus one was not coming to verizon, thousands of people jumped ship to the incredible within the last 48 hours. There were entire forums with hundreds of active users and thousands of anon's waiting for the nexus one on verizon and the hype has been building for well over 2 months. Once the news hit the floodgates opened.

Of course they are fishing for hits, in fact there were car websites announcing the nexus one on verizon was available just to grab the extra traffic over a month ago. Don't believe what you read on non-techy websites, chances are they are just fishing for traffic.

I ordered mine through my Business rep this morning at 11am and I had a fedex tracking number at 11:22am. I don know why they're reporting that they were sold out.
