Droid Does--but I adore my iPad

First, the iPhone OS makes me appreciate all the glories of Android. Right down to our app Market, which is much more streamlined, and has apps that are more utility-oriented and, you know, "free."

Second, it has totally satiated any inkling of an iPhone craving that I may or may not have had. I can play Air Traffic Control now, which, so far as I can tell, is the only reason to have an iWhatever.

Droid + iPad = best of both worlds. Color me contented.

I've been thinking about getting a tablet latter in the summer, and I have two different thoughts on it.

My first thought is to wait to see what comes out as an Android tablet.

The second thought is to go ahead and get the iPad since I would have access to completely different apps. So I would have different apps on iPad and Droid..........but a big downfall would be no Flash on iPad.

With either device I could use my rooted droid to create a hotspot for the tablet.

I have an iPad as well. I am in medical school and have over 30 books loaded. All of my fourth year medical books as well as study books. I tether to my Droid so I have no need for the 3G version.

It even fits in my white coat pocket.

It is great for the color pictures that are throughout the books. The Droid is wonderful as a hotspot and for some of the medical apps that I have loaded on it.

It does make for a great combination, but had an android device been out, I would have considered it. Who knows which I would have chosen.

iPad = iPhone - phone + EZ 2 Read display :D
The iPad is nice and with a $30 all you can eat data plan;) let the Jail-braking begin!
It is a serious contender for my IFE tool.
kindle w/9.7" screen = $500 (e-ink display is nice, very nice)
iPad $500 color screen makes up for being a mediocre reading device.

iphone - phone?
when has the iphone been able to make calls without dropping them?
