According to reports, there were 1.2 million Android Wear Watches in use as of Feb 2015, then 1.9 million as of Nov 2015. In contrast, 7 million Apple watches have been sold (one would assume most of those are in use).
I would have thought it would be the opposite, based on:
* the fact that Android phone users far outnumber Apple phone users
* the fact that there are several less-expensive options on the Android Wear side.
* the fact that A.W. works in limited fashion on Apple watch...attracts a few apple users.
* I thought maybe Android users tend to be more interested and/or savvy in technology than Apple users (as a broad generality, certainly doesn't apply to everyone)
So It surprises me.
Why would Apple watch be so much more popular than Android Wear?
