Unrooting to sell

I have a quick question, I am going to be picking up an Evo on the 4th. I was wanting to sell my Hero. Do I have to unroot it to sell it to someone else or can Sprint still activate it for someone else?

it doesn't have to be unrooted... but it's better if it is.. that way they can choose to root or not and can still get service on the phone if they need to.. run the RUU (1.5.6) to put it back to out of the box condition.
