Help Which Swype APK is THE Swype APK?

So I've searched around and found various APK's for Swype but does anyone know which is the "official" one, or latest one, or whatever? I'm looking for the best one for the DInc.

Yeah that thing is SEXY! I'm the one that tested it for the dev and I'm super impressed with it. I even throw him a few bones to his donate link, I think he deserved it since he developed a Inc swype and doesn't even own one!

Or you could always save both files and try them both for a week then decide

Also. There was a link to a thread, possibly from a different forum, that had many different versions of the swype. Anyone know what that link may be? I have searched around a good bit and cannot find it again....

I use Topdogg's green package, like it a lot.

Some colors/style mostly I think, like Sh0ebox' theme for the Cyanogen ROM has the secondary symbols colored where's none of the others seem to. That's all I know, perhaps another could shed more light on it.

I haven't yet tried Sh0ebox' themes myself since after installing the one I tried first from Topdogg (green) I didn't want to remove it yet, heh... I downloaded Sh0ebox' packages though and might give them a go later to see just what might be different.

I uninstalled my old swype, and when I try to install the new ones I get the message "application not installed." wtf. Swype options are still in my menus, but is there a way to clean wipe the files to get this one installed?

This is terrible, swype has broken me. I cannot use this regular keyboard anymore. When I tried to download the above "incredible" swype, I got download unsuccessful. Should have stuck with the old one and not worried.

Make sure all old versions of Swype are uninstalled. It shouldn't even come up as an option after you uninstall it. Check your downloads on your card or internal storage to make sure a copy isn't installed there too. Lots of people not having a problem with it.

Hmmm the thread is gone or the link is broken. After wiping my phone for root, Swype is telling me that my trial period is over. I tried re-installing the apk from Dropbox but it's giving me the same message. Any help?

That's because the Swype app is copyright and distributing it, whether by PM or by posting direct links to a download, is against forum rules.
