Accessories Incredible + iPod dock

I've got a Harman/Kardon Drive + Play set up in my car so I can listen to my iPod through an older car stereo. I found THIS CABLE allowing me to connect the Incredible to my iPod male connection. It sounds fantastic. I can now listen to Last.fm and my entire home mp3 collection via Subsonic while in the car. I'm very excited and thought I would share in case anyone else is looking for something like this. It also works with many home iPod docks.

very cool, now if only it could plug into the USB and get audio out and charge at the same time. I'm hoping very much that something like that comes out.

How awesome to be able to 'plug in' to the iphone accessory world to use your android

I bought the CableJive "Charge Converter" so I could use my iPhone in my Klipsch dock that only worked with older iPods.

I'm planning on continuing to use my ipod (and its dock) when I get my incredible. This could be a nice little accessory if I want to plug the phone in for gps...

Price tag is a little high though

I purchased one from eBay for twenty dollars and will let everyone know how well it performs with me iPod Touch FM transmitter.

I picked up an Ibiza iFIPO bluetooth to dock adapter. Plugged into my JBL ipod dock listening to Pandora radio streamed from my incredible. Of course Pandora doesn't support AVRCP (booo!) but the controls worked fine with the media player.

I will try it with my ipod to factory stereo adapter sometime later this weekend...

Ok so, I ordered that cable, and honestly, it works WONDERS. This is the exact thing I've been looking for! It just works flawlessly with my FM Transmitter for the iPod Touch. Stupid question, but can you control the incredible with the H/K? or is it just used to transfer the sound t the car stereo?

the cable allows you to plug into the headphone jack of any regular size (1/8 inch) device. that includes:
lots of smart phones,
cd players, mp3 players, palm pilots, laptops, ect.

that port is a one way audio only port that transmits stereo (2 channel) sound.
i use the aux port on my radio for audio and the usb port for charging on my incredible. this combo lets me listen to pandora radio while charging it and using the navigator through all through my car reciever. its great. now all i need is a vent mount to hold it in the air for me while i drive.

this cable looks like it would be good for anyone who only has a USB connection on their radio or is unwilling to get the aux port connected (i had to tear apart my dash and plug in a cable then wire it down to were i wanted it).

Can't control it, sadly. Still sounds good though.

Yeah. I have it coiled around my H/K control knob. Hasn't been an issue.

Wish I had known that before I sold my iPod FM transmitter. But I ended up buying this one: Griffin iTrip Auto Universal FM Transmitter for iPhone - eBay (item 370373913640 end time May-31-10 04:55:33 PDT). It plays AND will charge it at the same time with the USB cable.
