So before you rush to the best buy and grab your new evo you may want to call sprint and find out more about the perk of being a premier customer. I am eligible for an upgrade, I called today to find out more details of an offer I once heard, that I saw reiterated in another post on the forums.
Basically sprint gives you (the premier customer) $70 account credit if you decide to stay with them for an additional 2 years.
First thing that comes to your mind is why would I take that when I get 150 off my next phone. Well It does not negate your upgrade, However if you try to get the credit after taking out your new evo next friday you might not be able to.
As proof I went ahead with it see below

I advise you to at least call to find out for yourself.
FYI they also told me the date of your contract termination would be when you actually sign up for the new phone.
