Favorites and Search sub-features Missing in People App in 2.1?

Two things...

1. Is it me or have they removed the Search feature in the People app in 2.1? I'm in People, then click Menu and the Search feature was right there; has it been moved or removed? Thanks!

2. I also responded to another post in a different phone forum about the missing Phone "Favorites" sub-feature in 2.1. Anyone know where that is? You can add a contact from your recently called list to your "Favorites" by hard pressing the contact name, but there's no associated Favorites app to go along with it.

Am I off-base? Thanks!

Found an update to #1 above. When inside the People app, just simply press the magnifying glass (search) icon on the phone's hard button area.

Still searching for alternative for #2 above. Will keep you posted, unless someone finds a solution first.

I found "Favorites" here on my Sprint 2.1:

Select "People"
Select "Groups" which is second from the left
"Favorites" is listed as one of the "Groups"
Select and add Favorites by selecting "Add Contact to Group"

Thanks, Dave!!! Found it; got it. Too bad it's so "buried" within the app itself, but there it be! :)

One more thing, you can add a Favorites folder to your home or other screen this way (provided you've already added some Favorites contacts---see above as to how to do that).

a) Long-press on an empty space on one of your phone's screens
b) Select Folders, then Starred.
c) When done, that icon will now show all your favorites immediately on the screen. (Thanks to JimDroid.)
