Help Picture message?

When ever someone sends me a picture message, the picture comes as a video type. When i click on thepic it only stays open for a couple of secs. On the Moto droid the pic would show on the message and if i clicked on it it would stay open. Is tue a way to change this or what?

The reason is because it sees it as a "slide show" The way to fix it is to open it up and then pause the slide show.

I know i can do that, but i want it to be like my moto droid. Anytime i got a pic it would show me the pic in the message. With the htc i have to open the slideshow to see it.
